Basic Image Gallery

This is a basic image gallery with carousel function. This application is intended to demonstrate the creation and extension of BabyGekko's basic classses.

Simple Comments for Blog

This is a commenting extension so your site visitors can put comment on  your site. Please note that you must extract this ZIP file and then install the two ZIP packages inside:

• app_simplecomments_0.8.zip (Manager)
• filter_simplecomments_0.8.zip (Filter)

Built-in feature: CSRF protection, captcha for human verification, and Flood Control to prevent spammers. The CSS file is CSS3-based and may be incompatible with older browsers such as IE6.

OpenUsers (Facebook, Google, Yahoo, Live, Linkedin)

This is an Open Users class where you can allow your site visitors to be authenticated via Facebook, Google, Yahoo, Windows Live, or LinkedIn. This is useful if you have an e-commerce or a community website and want to increase the conversion to your site.

Please note that this application is still in ALPHA stage and should not be used on a production server!!!

SMF Users Class

SMF Users Class provides a 2-way synchronization with SMF Forum users database. Once configured, please edit config.inc.php and change the DEFAULT_USER_CLASS to smf_users. Extension for SMF must also be installed.

Twitter Follow Button

Twitter Follow Button for Baby Gekko CMS is a block that places a Twitter “follow” button on your web pages. Your site visitors can subscribe directly to your Twitter feeds from your websites with a single click. Your site visitors don't need to click twice and thus risk losing your users to external sites.

Simple Slideshow

Simple Slideshow offers a simple eye-candy image slideshow for Gekko Web Builder. It's a light-weight alternative to Flash image rotation scripts, which are sometimes difficult to implement and heavy regarding filesize, not to mention that Flash slideshows don't work on mobile devices such as IPad or IPhones.

LDAP/Active Directory Users Class

LDAP/Active Directory Users Class allows you to extend/replace the current users class to authenticate against Microsoft Windows' Active Directory. This is useful in a situation where you'd like to use BabyGekko CMS internally inside a corporate LAN network.

Google Map Contacts

Place a Store or Branch Locator on your website using the power of Google Maps. Allow your visitors to search for nearby locations and see them visually on a Map. You have the ability to specify unlimited Store Locations easily in the Gekko Web Builder Administration area. Your locations don't have to be stores, they can be anything you want. 

Simple XML Sitemap

Simple XML Sitemap generates an XML sitemap for all the contents of your website. You can use this sitemap to submit your website to Google, Bing, etc.
