Gekko Web Builder is a lightweight, extensible content management system platform for publishing websites, intranets, or blogs. It is written in PHP/MySQL and has been in development since 2006. Gekko Web Builder requires little technical skill or HTML to operate for the end users. You can put contents of simple text, photos, multimedia documents, embed Youtube files, etc with ease.
Download the latest version: v1.1.4. Please read the License.
To install it onto your web server, please point your web browser to http://yourservername.com//install/.
Gekko Web Builder has been tested and works with CPanel, Plesk, and EasyPHP (Windows). It should work with any Linux or Windows based server running PHP > 5.2 and MySQL.
Try the demo at http://gekkocms.babygekko.com. You can also view the backend at http://gekkocms.babygekko.com/admin (no password required, but write access and certain functionalities have been disabled)
